Elizabeth has been practicing art therapy and counseling since 2015. She received her Masters from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM and specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and PTSD working with kids, teens, and adults. She is inspired by people and our ability to self-reflect and be creative.
Elizabeth has worked in many different settings including schools, hospitals, recovery centers, private practice, and youth programs. During art therapy, clients are invited to express their feelings and anything they are experience using colors, shapes, images, and words using a variety of materials. Clients may be given a specific art directives based on what the session theme is that day in order to further explore it with more than words. You do not have to be artistic to benefit from art therapy!
